An Initiative Taken by The Body Shop........

                

                    Stop Violence in the home Campaign.


Inspired by a statistic that stated 59% of women turn to their friends in a crisis. The Body Shop launched "Stop Violence in the home" in 2007, a campaign that empowered women through practical tools by helping them turn into friends,They partnered with Muskaan a non -profit organization in Jaipur to support victims by teaching them practical skills so they can live self sustained lives.

                             Stop Sex Trafficking.

                             
Mobilising their customers, more than several million signatures were collected to petition the cause to stop sex trafficking of children and young people. In India, 3,00,000 plus signature helped to ratify the UN protocol in the country.



                          Stops Bans Animal Testing.


                     

The Body Shop has been World famous for their cruelty against animals policy. In 2013, thanks to its concentrated efforts India banned testing of cosmetics on animals.

                        Support HER Education (SHE)


Partnering with "Food for life Vrindavan" (FFLV), they raised Rs.30 Lakhs for education,nutrition, healthcare and self defence training of 100 girls in need in 2014. This year they're extending it to sponsor syllabus books for 2016 for an entire school of 1,500 girls.

Asha Volunteering encourages The Body Shop India employees to take two days paid leave to work at an NGO or local community service of their choice. It strates in 2010, and in 2015 alone,they logged 3,000 hours.
